Attendance Monitoring through students' mobile device
Location and time based student attendance monitoring on iPhone and Android devices
Without the need for any additional hardware, the Wozzad attendance monitoring application uses the student's smart-phone to self-register themselves during lectures.
By using the Student's modern smartphone device which is equipped with Bio-metric authentication and accurate GPS locations, the Wozzad attendance monitoring application can determine if a student is at a particular location at a particular time.
Students' timetables are integrated into Wozzad prompting the student by way of 'push' notifications that self-registration is required. A simple fingerprint touch or FaceID authentication will then upload that data for all stakeholders to view.
Students can also alert the lecturer or course leader of any non-attendance in advance, so any additional support can be arranged.
Downloadable from Google Play or App Store
Students can download the app for Android devices via Google Play and from the App Store on iPhone.
Advance notification of non-attendance
Students can warn in advance if they cannot attend the course so lecturer can plan accordingly.
Course leaders and Admin team can view data
Attendance data is uploaded to the Wozzad University portal for course leaders and administrative staff to analyse.
Reporting and Analytics
Any suspicious registrations or from a single device will be red-flagged for further analysis.
Students can confidently chat with administrators if the attendance becomes a problem or if support is needed.
The app will use bio-metric authentication where possible. Password authentication if student chooses not to use bio-metric. The type of authentication is always recorded for audit.
Integration to Timetable data
Wozzad will work with your IT team to import student timetables to drive the Attendance App.
Employer portal can view attendance
For employer funded courses or apprenticeships, employers can view their staff attendance to ensure their funds are used appropriately.
Continuous location for duration of lecture
The application will constantly poll the GPS location every 15 minutes to determine if the student is at the lecture for the entire duration and not just at the start.
